About The Event
This full-day training (10.45-16.30) will be conducted by Colleen Rohan, President of the ADC-ICT and Marie O’Leary, Vice-President of the ADC-ICT who both have a wealth of experience at the international courts and tribunals.
This training will cover the important topic of the rights of international civil servants, especially staff and interns of the international courts and tribunals and defence counsel and their teams. The training will explain the rights and protections that individuals have against harassment, threats and abuse of power. It will also cover the mechanisms which are in place to protect staff at the international courts and tribunals should there be any issues related to their work, including access to the UN Dispute Tribunal and the International Labour Organisation.
