ADC-ICT Submits Amicus Brief to President of the UN IRMCT on Early Release

On 24 April 2019, the ADC-ICT submitted an amicus curiae brief to the President of the UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals on the issue of early release. The ADC-ICt expressed its concern over the President's decision to impose conditions on Valentin Coric when he was released from the UN Detention Unit. The ADC-ICT asserted that there was no legal framework currently in place regarding early release and that to the contrary it represents a departure from the established jurisprudence of the ICTY, ICTR and the IRMCT.
