ADC-ICT General Assembly and Election Results 2025

On Saturday, 29 November 2025, the Association of Defence Counsel practising before the International Courts and Tribunals (ADC-ICT) held its annual General Assembly and elections, bringing together its membership to review the past year’s activities and to elect the Association’s leadership for the year ahead.
Ms. Marie O’Leary was elected as President of the ADC-ICT for the upcoming term. Ms. O’Leary, a long-standing defence practitioner with extensive experience before international criminal courts, will lead the Association as it continues its work in supporting defence counsel and promoting fair trial rights within international proceedings.
The membership also elected four Vice Presidents, who will support the President and Executive Committee in guiding the Association’s activities:

Sarah Bafadhel
Annie O’Reilly
Marie-Hélène Proulx
